The people of Israel called the bread manna. It was white like coriander seed and tasted like wafers made with honey. The Israelites ate manna forty years.
(Exodus 16:31, 35)
High income countries with a great variety of food to feast on have a greater incidence of obesity related cancers, diabetes, and heart disease. Underdeveloped nations tend to eat similar foods without variation and do not have the prevalence of these diseases. A routine diet without the great diversity of foods is better for our health. In ancient times God provided food called manna to sustain His people during a difficult journey. Today God provides us all with the same daily spiritual food as we read His holy Word. Variety kills. Feed on God’s Word!
