Then Moses raised his hand over the sea, and the LORD opened up a path through the water with a strong east wind. The wind blew all that night, turning the seabed into dry land. So the people of Israel walked through the middle of the sea on dry ground, with walls of water on each side!
(Exodus 14:21, 22 NLT)
God’s people were pursued and trapped by an entire Egyptian army facing an uncrossable Red Sea. But God seeing the faith of one man with his hand raised opened a miraculous path for His people to cross over into their destiny. Often we face unsurmountable problems in our own lives and feel trapped by uncontrollable situations. When God sees the faith of one person lifting up their hands in public acknowledgement of Him He opens up a path through the impossible. God was working an unseen miracle through the night using the wind as the people waited for the waters to completely part. We may have to endure some time waiting in the darkness before we experience the light of complete deliverance as the Holy Spirit parts the waters of our circumstances.
