You are not the same as those who do not believe. So do not join yourselves to them. Good and bad do not belong together. Light and darkness cannot share together.
(2 Corinthians 6:14 NCV)
An unbeliever is someone who does not have complete faith in God’s Word and therefore does not believe in the plan that God has for our lives. They will not help us fulfill the purpose that God has created us for. Entering into agreement with unbelievers in business arrangements, friendship or matrimonial relationships can bind our faith in complacency violating the covenant we have with God. “Leave those people, and be separate, says the Lord. Touch nothing that is unclean, and I will accept you.” (2 Corinthians 6:17 NCV)
