“I cannot keep from speaking.
I must express my anguish.
My bitter soul must complain.
(Job 7:11 NLT)
The book of Job in the Bible is written in the form of a dialogue to provide us with wisdom in the management of life’s adversity. The main character Job has several conservations with his friends and with God. Job’s friends accuse, condemn and offer him the wrong advice then Job complains to God about his terrible circumstances. Wisdom’s dialogue is initiated when we take the time to sit still and listen to God in prayer. We need to spend less time questioning God or talking about our problems to the wrong people and more time in the wisdom seat praying for God’s wisdom to learn how to grow spiritually through the difficult times.
