God’s will is for you to be holy, so stay away from all sexual sin. Then each of you will control his own body and live in holiness and honor— not in lustful passion like the pagans who do not know God and his ways.
(1 Thessalonians 4:3-5 NLT)

The Bible says that king Solomon was the wisest man who ever lived. (1 Kings 4:30) He used his wisdom to accumulate great fame and fortune becoming the most successful king in the history of ancient Israel. His downfall was that he made the wrong relationship choices by marrying hundreds of foreign women for political advancement. Eventually king Solomon became complacent tolerating the idolatrous pagan worship practices of these women and neglected his relationship with the one true Living God. King Solomon never applied his wisdom to his relationships. Careless kisses corrupt moral purity.
