While Jesus was still speaking, some men came from the house of Jairus, the synagogue ruler. “Your daughter is dead,” they said. “Why bother the teacher any more?” Ignoring what they said, Jesus told the synagogue ruler, “Don’t be afraid; just believe.”
(Mark 5:35, 36 NIV84)

Jesus was walking with Jairus on the way to heal his sick daughter when some members of his household came with discouraging words and attempted to put limits on the miraculous power of Jesus. In direct opposition to the bad news Jesus immediately reversed their negative words with an encouraging word of faith. Sometimes even those from our own household may attempt to put limits on the dreams we have of the impossible. We just believe the Word of the Lord and fearlessly keep walking in faith with Him towards our destiny.
