Praise the name of God forever and ever, for he has all wisdom and power. He controls the course of world events;
he removes kings and sets up other kings.
(Daniel 2:20, 21 NLT)

Who would God vote for is the question. The answer is no one. God does not vote since His kingdom is a theocracy which means that He is sovereign over all of His creation and He reigns with perfect wisdom forever and ever. Therefore in any earthly election people should vote for candidates who respect God’s laws. There are no perfect candidates since all of humanity has sinned against God. We have to settle for the best of the worst and consider each candidates position with regards to the issues of God’s moral law. Protecting the lives of unborn children, preserving the sanctity of holy matrimony between a man and a women, defending God’s chosen people Israel and treating all people with dignity regardless of nationality or race are the issues that should influence our candidate selections on election day. I vote for God may His kingdom come!
