“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.
(Isaiah 43:18, 19 NIV84)

Many people live their lives in reference to what happened in the past. We should not let past mistakes or failures limit future blessings from the Lord. It is surprising to find anything green in a desert but God can spring forth a new season of growth even during the dryness of life’s desert experiences. Praise God from whom all blessings flow because only He can make us grow!
