And let the beauty and delightfulness and favor of the Lord our God be upon us; confirm and establish the work of our hands–yes, the work of our hands, confirm and establish it.
(Psalm 90:17 AMP)

The Lord loves to bless people who worship Him, who walk in His ways and live according to His commandments (Psalm 128:1) but blessings often require some initial effort or work. The Lord pours out His favor and guides us toward our blessings through our work. “A hard worker has plenty of food, but a person who chases fantasies has no sense.” (Proverbs 12:11) “You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours.” (Psalm 128:2) We work to push the wheelbarrow but the Lord positions it to overflow with His blessings.
