It is true that he was weak when he was killed on the cross, but he lives now by God’s power. It is true that we are weak in Christ, but for you we will be alive in Christ by God’s power.
(2 Corinthians 13:4 NCV)

Strength athletes condition themselves with a daily regimen of weightlifting in order develop power and become great in their sport. God humbled Himself becoming weak in the human form of Jesus so that the world would see God’s power in the resurrection achieving victory over sin and death. Our prerequisite to experience the miraculous power of God to live extraordinary lives is voluntary weakness with humility. God’s power is exercised in our weakness.
