May God, who gives this patience and encouragement, help you live in complete harmony with each other, as is fitting for followers of Christ Jesus. Then all of you can join together with one voice, giving praise and glory to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
(Romans 15:5-6 NLT)

Many people build their self esteem in relation to other people’s opinions. The latest fashion styles and electronic gadgets determine social acceptance. Success is defined by the number of people who like you. Self worth becomes a function of what we have and not who we are. We compete with each other for individual public attention. In the kingdom of God believers are considered family. The Bible instructs us to “accept each other just as Christ has accepted you so that God will be given glory.” (Romans 15:7) We are all equal in heaven’s social circles joined together with one voice of praise to our God.
