And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us; and we [actually] saw His glory (His honor, His majesty)
(John 1:14 AMP)

Theology is a term derived from the greek root words “Theos” and “logos”. “Theos” means God and “logos” means word. Theology is then defined as a “word about God”. Word about God should become work for God as theology needs to be put into practice. The Bible says that Christ Jesus is the Word and as our divine example the Word became flesh and walked amongst us when Jesus came to earth. Our thoughts about God should spring up into words about God as we boast about His majesty in dialogue with others. Our words about God should mature into actions for God as we live out our lives to honor Him. May the Word of God become flesh in us as we live all for His glory.
