“Not my will, but yours be done.”
(Luke 22:42 NIV)

God attempts to bless us with an unexpected flower in the midst of the mundane mediocrity of each day but our stubborn adherence to a selfish agenda can be an obstacle to His goodness. The Lord wants His people to be free to live in the Holy Spirit and not in the routine. We should always consider our daily schedules as tentative and subject to change as prompted by the Holy Spirit. Being flexible in the Holy Spirit is the secret to an extraordinarily successful life filled with spontaneous surprises. The Lord’s will and not our will be done keeps us blessed with God’s best!
