“Thank [God] in everything [no matter what the circumstances may be, be thankful and give thanks], for this is the will of God for you [who are] in Christ Jesus.”
(1 Thessalonians 5:18 AMP)

It comes naturally to be fearful about the future and complain in the present. It’s even easier to remain bitter about the past but It comes supernaturally to humble ourselves in surrender to God’s will. Our purpose is to praise God with an attitude of gratitude through all circumstances.

Complaining to God drains us.
But praising God sustains us.
There’s no need to be grim.
Just be thankful to Him.
