“The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”
(Psalm 118:6 NIV)

The majority of us spend many thoughts every day worrying about what may or may not happen. Our worries develop into fear. The number one thing that people fear are spiders.(1) Others are afraid of interpersonal conflict or becoming ill. Approximately 40 million Americans have a fear or anxiety disorder.(2) Ultimately all fear can be derived from either the fear of experiencing pain or the fear of death. For believers in the Lord Jesus there is coming a day when there will be no more pain and no more death so there is no reason to be afraid. (Rev 21:4)
