“And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ”
(Philippians 1:9, 10 ESV)

Allergic rhinitis is a group of symptoms affecting the nose. These symptoms occur when exposed to an allergen such as dust, pollen or someone’s perfume.(1) When the nose is congested the sense of smell is adversely affected so that you can no longer distinguish between something that smells good and something that smells bad. Choosing the wrong activities or friends exposes us to spiritual allergens that adversely affects our ability to discern what is excellent and that which is offensive to God. The cure for allergies is to avoid the allergen altogether and we improve our spiritual discernment by not participating in things that are contrary to God’s Word.
