“Once you were far away from God, but now you have been brought near to him through the blood of Christ.”
(Ephesians 2:13 NLT)

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have discovered a deadly new superbug called carbapenem-resistant enterobacteria or CRE. This “nightmare bacteria” is a terrible threat to our health because it is resistant to all antibiotics. What makes matters even worse is that these superbugs can transfer their invincibility to other bacteria. Infections with CRE bacteria have a fatality rate as high as 50 percent and the big fear is that it will spread.(1) The best way to protect yourself against CRE is to keep yourself healthy with an immune-supportive diet; plenty of exercise; detoxification; and restorative sleep each night. These superbugs are dangerous to our physical health but there is another virus which is far more deadly. It has spread to infect everyone of us and the mortality rate is 100%. It’s called sin. Sin damages our soul and the end result is eternal death separated from God. The Good News is that the blood of Jesus is the immunization against all unrighteousness.
